STRIKE NOTICE
Mississauga - Your Negotiating Committee met with the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association (OSMCA) again today, Thursday May 15, 2025.
OSMCA was unwilling to make a monetary offer that was fair or reasonable.
EFFECTIVE TUESDAY MAY 20, 2025 ICI SHEET METAL WORKERS ARE ON STRIKE.
DO NOT REPORT TO WORK ON TUESDAY MAY 20, 2025.
Please finish your normal work week as scheduled including any regular work on Friday May 16 and overtime work on Saturday May 17, Sunday May 18, and Monday May 19, 2025.
Once you have finished your regular work week and any overtime, please remove all of your personal belongings and tools from the workplace.
