SHEET METAL NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
Notice to Members employed in ICI Sheet Metal in the Province of Ontario
April 30, 2025
Mississauga - Your Negotiating Committee met with the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors’
Association (OSMCA) on Tuesday April 29 and Wednesday April 30. Together we have made
significant progress and are hopeful that we can resolve all outstanding proposals soon.
We are continuing negotiations over the next several days and will continue to meet in person
with OSMCA on Friday May 2, 2025 and Monday May 5, 2025. We are optimistic that we can
reach a tentative agreement by the end of the day on May 5, 2025. If we are able to reach a
tentative agreement we will notify you right away to schedule ratification votes. This tentative
agreement will include a clause for all increases to the package to be retroactive.
