SHEET METAL NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
Notice to all Members employed in ICI Sheet Metal in the Province of Ontario

Mississauga - Your Negotiating Committee met with the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors’
Association (OSMCA) on Friday May 2 and again on Monday May 5, 2025. While we made
significant progress on many matters, we remain far apart from reaching a fair wage increase that
includes hours earned on pension and benefits for all overtime hours worked.
Your Negotiating Committee is continuing to negotiate with representatives from OSMCA over
the next several days. We remain focused and committed to reaching a settlement on all
outstanding matters. Once we have further information we will notify all of you right away.
UNTIL THEN PLEASE CONTINUE TO REPORT TO WORK AS SCHEDULED.
As a reminder your negotiating committee has reached an agreement with OSMCA that all
increases reached in the renewal of the Sheet Metal ICI Collective Agreement will be applied
retroactively.
As more information becomes available we will provide further updates.
